The route
The drive follows NH44 to Krishnagiri, then NH48 through Vaniyambadi and Ambur towards Vellore. It is a well-surfaced run of roughly three and a half to four hours depending on the departure time.
Guests travelling for non-medical reasons often combine the trip with the Vellore Golden Temple at Sripuram or the fort, which the chauffeur can build into the day.
