01Per-kilometre rates
Each vehicle class carries a published one-way rate and a lower round-trip rate. One-way journeys are billed on onward distance; round trips are billed on total distance travelled, subject to the minimum daily kilometre commitment.
02Minimum billing
Round-trip and multi-day journeys carry a minimum billable distance per calendar day. If the actual distance is lower, the minimum applies; if higher, actual distance is billed.
03Fare components
- Base fare — distance × rate per kilometre
- Outstation and multi-day journeys — already included in the trip fare
- Night charge — for driving between 22:00 and 06:00
- Toll charges — at actuals, including the return leg on one-way trips
- Parking and entry fees — at actuals
- Interstate or state entry permits — at actuals
- Hill charges — for ghat sections such as Ooty, Kodaikanal and Yercaud
- Airport charges — entry and pickup fees levied by the airport operator
- Waiting charges — beyond the free waiting window
- GST — at the statutory rate on the taxable value
04Estimates versus final fare
The online calculator produces an estimate from mapped road distance. The final invoice reflects actual distance, actual waiting and actual levies. Where a toll rate cannot be verified against official data, it is withheld and the journey is quoted only once verification completes.
05Discounts and adjustments
Percentage or flat discounts and goodwill adjustments may be applied by an authorised administrator. Every deduction is itemised on the invoice with the reason recorded.
06Rate revisions
Rates may be revised in response to fuel prices, statutory levies and toll notifications. A confirmed booking is honoured at the rate quoted at confirmation.
